Pastor -
Rev. Paul Thomas
Pastor Paul Thomas is a Massachusetts native who was raised in the
Congregational church. His spiritual journey has taken him to Maryland where he
taught at the Antioch College Human Ecology Center and helped found a unique
house-church; to Pennsylvania Dutch country where he began his seminary studies
and worked in hospital chaplaincy; to India where he volunteered with the Mother
Teresa mission and explored Hindu-Christian dialogue; to Harvard Divinity School
and ordination into the United Church of Christ; to parishes in Acton and
Leominster, MA and involvement in youth ministry, Habitat for Humanity and
hospice chaplaincy. He has been pastor in Westborough since 1992.
Paul is married and has two children. He is committed to helping build a
faithful, welcoming and authentic Christian community in Westborough. His hopes
for the future here include continued growth, deeper sharing
of faith, and hands-on mission. He is inspired by the excitement of serving God
and God's people. |
