Youth Group

Our Youth Group program ranges from grades 6-12. As we are a large group, we like to break off into two different age groups, creating a junior group (6-9) and senior group (10-12).  Newcomers are always welcome!

Youth Group meetings consist of Topic Meetings and Adventure Meetings. Topic meetings consist of discussion based upon current events, social issues, social media platforms, and more.  Adventure Meetings consist of outings chosen by our group to share a favorite hobby or try something new.  Service to others is a major component with regular summer work camps and mission trips.

"Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct,

in love, in faith, in purity."  1 Timothy 4:12

  • Breakfast Club is Faith Formation for high school students in grades 10-12. It runs during the school year, meeting before Sunday worship at 9am.
  • Youth Group gathers every other Sunday from noon until 3pm. ALL students grade 6-12 are invited.  We always have great food and fun!
  • Youth Mentors our high school students mentor the younger age groups in Faith Formation classes on Sunday mornings, leading discussions and activities.

All 9th and 10th graders are invited to take part in our two-year confirmation class

Year One students meet with Reverend Elaine, go on retreats, serve on mission and outreach programs, and so much more. In Year Two, students also meet with a mentor of their choice.

Classes run from October to late April and focus on a Biblical, relevant, hands-on and faith-based experience.

Summer Work Camp

This favorite youth activity has been a tradition since the 1990's. Every summer, volunteers from our Senior High Youth Group travel across the country, fixing up homes for the elderly, handicapped, and low-income families. It's one of the most rewarding and inspiring events we do every year!
