Fellowship and Parish Life
One of our greatest strengths that we are told over and over again is how friendly and welcoming we are as a Congregation. Our Parish Life committee is always busy planning brunches, dinners, and other monthly special events. There are also Fellowship groups that hold their own events throughout the year. Yet there are a whole host of opportunities for fellowship within our church: from Coffee Hour after church, to participating in Adult Education classes, Mission trips, Retreats, or simply joining one of our Choirs, or serving on one of our many Boards or Committees. The following are the opportunities, events, and happenings for 2012-2013. More information can be found in the Church Bulletins and Newsletter.

Coffee Hour
Every Sunday – Join us downstairs in the Vestry after worship for Coffee and conversation.
Adult Education Classes
Wed night at the movies
Oct 3, 10, 17, 24 - Films, Faith, Spirituality and Healing for Life with Rev. Elaine Gaetani. Exploring the upcoming lectionary lessons in Worship and in Church School.
Womens Fellowship
Monthly – The Women’s Fellowship group holds a series of guest speakers and other events during the year. These events are supported by the proceeds from our Evergreen fair…another great fellowship event in and of itself!
Womens Retreat – May 3rd-5th, 2013. All women are invited to the women’s retreat at St Benedictine Abbey in Still Water (Harvard) MA.
Christmas Caroling
Dec 9, 2012 Starts with supper in the church vestry at 4:00 pm, Caroling to our homebound at 5:00, then 7:00pm meet back at church Vestry for hot chocolate. Surprise Run Activity for all!!
Pancake Brunch
Feb 10, 2013- On Sunday after church in the Vestry enjoy a pancake brunch as we move into Ash Wednesday and Lent
Annual Progressive Dinner
Apr 27, 2013 - Annual Adult Progressive Dinner. You’ll have appetizers at one house (6:30-7:45), dinner at another (8-9:30) and dessert back at the church (9:45), with a different crowd at each location. If you haven’t been, it’s a wonderful evening – we hope you’ll join us!
Off Site Retreats
Nov 2012 – All-Church Retreats are a fantastic way to get to know fellow members of the congregation. Usually held about once every year or two and always fun, inspiring, and a learning experience. All are invited Nov 2nd & 3rd to Framingham Retreat Center MACUCC.

Sundae Sundays
Jul-Aug- Sponsored by C.E. - Children enjoyed Sundae Sundays over the summer months. We had a more relaxed format with stories, discussions, art projects, indoor and outdoor games, and most importantly, ice cream!!!
Harvest Pot Luck Supper
Oct 2012- Held in the church Vestry Oct 13. Social time begins at 6:30pm. Supper at 7pm. Costumes may be worn by young and young at heart (small prizes for costumes).
Lunch Bunch
Ladies’ Lunch Bunch meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month at the South Street Diner at 11:30am.
Men’s Lunch Bunch meets every 3rd Thursday of the month at the Masonic Temple at 11:30am.
Men’s Fellowship
Men’s Breakfast and Movie
Feb 2, 2012 – The Congregational Church of Westborough will host a men’s (age 12 and up) breakfast, movie, and discussion beginning at 8AM. This event is open to all men and the invitation will be extended to other area churches as well.

Welcome Sunday BBQ
Sep 2012- BBQ Picnic with games and fun for all. Held Sept 9th after church in the Kirkside Yard (Vestry if rain). Please bring meat to grill or a salad to share. (Can be refrigerated in kitchen during church service).
